Urgent: Raffle Coming to Close: Doodlebug

As you know,  dogs are a big part of my life. One reason for that is the PEOPLE my dogs have allowed me to meet and interact with.

Those dog PEOPLE are an expanding family, and on February 1, 2010, our family expanded a tiny bit further.  Can something be tiny and HUGE at the same time?  Amy and Kenny Kistler welcomed a new addition to their family, Miss Allyson London Kistler.  The lovely Miss Ally was born after a rough experience, with 2 holes in her heart and Down Syndrome.  She weighed 4 lb, 5.6 oz.
In March,  Miss Ally underwent her first heart surgery.
The best news,  a week later she finally was able to go home with her parents, and was up to 5 lb, 11oz.

As you know, insurance only covers a portion of the medical costs involved with any birth and life preserving operations.  So members of Ally’s extended family have gotten together to offer up some WONDERFUL Raffle prizes to raise some additional funds for the Kistler family.

Coordinating the Raffle,  handling the prizes and collecting the money,  is the amazing Miss Susan,  of M and Z Gourmet Dog Cookies. (Named after Mollie and Zander.)

ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO A SPECIAL ACCOUNT SET UP FOR LITTLE ALLY.

From Newf-L member….artist Christine Nelson has told me that she is donating a Custom made piece of Newfie Art to the Grand Prize winner

and as I said….there may be others coming in which I do not know about yet.

Tickets will be $ 2.00 each or 3 for $ 5.00.

M & Zee’s will cover all shipping expenses for the prizes so again…

Since I am NOT permitted to take donations via PayPal ( BUMMER ) , tickets will have to be purchased with a check or money order.

You may either make your check out directly to Amy Kistler or if you feel comfortable, leave the Pay To area blank and all checks will be gathered together and forwarded to the Kistlers after the conclusion of this Raffle.

You may, however, e-mail me with the number of tickets you’d like and I will enter you into the spreadsheet and e-mail you back with your tickets numbers .
