Some Mystical Blue Finds

I am headed off to Ice Cream Sundae,  a Wisconsin Dairy celebration,
after which I have some soggy sorting to do outside.
It has been a wet week.
Thanks to Debbiedoos for Hosting a weekly Garage Salen party
and visit Southern Hospitality for a Garage Sale  Thrifting party.

I leave you with a few mystical blue thrifty finds from last week.

You can see I am attracted to deep blue glass, especially sun, moon, star shapes.
The OUIJA board is a recent version, that even glows in the dark. I was fortunate to find it end of day when everything was half price. (OK- orig. price was only 75 cents.)

The photo albums will be repurposed to hold printed out crafts, recipes and “spells”.  (All in fun.)

If you were wondering about the answer to my Whatzit Wednesday
I discovered that my little friend

is missing a part.

He is a Little Tikes Goofy Giggles remote contol toy for crawling and learning to walk babies, with a very hefty price tag.  Nowhere close to the 25 cents I paid.  I do not know if mine works, but he still makes me smile.
This week I found another one at a thrift store. They were calling it vintage and it was very beat up. They wanted too much money for theirs as well.

Under my Goofy Guy is a shiny roll of ribbon that will be used to decorate the porch and items for July 4.

I have had a great time the last 2 weeks checking out all of your beautiful porches and being inspired by your July 4 crafts.

  10. I love that blue when it is paired with lots of other items the same color. I have a great serving dish and candle sticks {in three sizes} and I love to use them altogether. They actually have gold stars on them, too, so your finds would work perfectly with my grouping!

    • I have a set of large plates and soup bowls, deep blue with gold stars that would work well for you.

    • Never enough! The past 2 weekends I have been fortunate and found a couple great sales with really low prices. Brought home too much (is that real?) stuff. (I did not say that.)
