Cock-a-doodle Do the Rooster Party Blog Hop

You are a bit early for the party, so may I offer you something to drink?

or grab a bowl       and help yourself to some cereal

while I finish getting ready.

(There is no love lost between roosters and turkeys.)

If you’d like to help, you can fill the snack spoon.

  Rooster Chow Party Mix

Mix together 3 Cups crisp dry cereal
1 Cup each raisins and M&Ms
2 Cups small pretzel sticks
1/2 Cup salted dried sunflower seeds

Did I mention it was nice of you to come dressed for the occasion?

We are expecting other guests to hop through from Bella Vista.

Be sure to welcome each and every one.

I have hung some windchimes to set the mood.

and wanted to add some bright cheery flowers

but the heat took its toll on more than me.

So a hand painted centerpiece will do.

Grab the tablecloth and placemats.

What- you think the colors clash?  Looking a bit busy?

What if I add the serving tray?

I have several choices for dishes.

Large dinner plates don’t fit with dieters agendas  so we’ll use that size as a serving platter also.

I have a game you can play while we wait for the others.

It is an antique tin motion toy.

Look, some more guests have arrived.

Oh- you are too stuffed to eat now?

We can put on some music

and dance.

Please go visit the other (more dignified) Rooster Parties and thank Barb for hosting

  7. thanks for the giggles this morning. 🙂 When I was a girl, my mom collected corn-themed items, and we could have written a post very similar to this about corn. She even had a phone that was shaped like a giant ear of corn. Needless to say, I will be in therapy for a very long time. *giggle*
