What is listed on CL for $200

Filed under: Thrifty Finds — Laura R @ 8:18 AM

Yesterday I wrote a post about what I bought for a quarter.

Thinking a bit more expensive, and taking pictures from CraigsList ads,
here are a few things I saw listed at $200.

You could get yourself

or

or a 10 foot  brass “spinning” pole

No, it spins, not used for spinning, although I don’t see why not.

Also available at $200 is

or

or  (my favorite)

Can you guess what I would spend money on if I had $200?
Which would be your choice?

Have you ever found a bargain on CraigsList or a similar online classified site?

  1. thanks for visiting my blog…will have to check on Nancy Ziemann you mentioned who may be a relative; I have only begun to scratch the surface of hubby’s side with relatives all over the place. When we first moved here in 2005 it seemed everyone I ran into in La Crescent was one or another of Jerry’s shirt tail relatives. We are in the midst of clearing out his mother’s apt. now and so that’s taking lots of time! So much going to Goodwill and or to the dump, stuff that should be useful to someone, but no one we ask wants a thing, so….. Interesting that you know this area and we just completed another Applefest here in La Crescent. Looks like you are on your way to getting a blog well organized; mine has grown like the Winchester Mystery house, I keep adding things and really need to organize it better, but no time!

    • I can’t seem to organize the house. If I can get even a blog organized it would be a feat.
To that end I have started 2 other blogs, one for crafts and redos, refurbishing, etc.
the other for weight loss, debt reduction (even tho debt is not my problem so much as lack of income), and decluttering all the treasures I drag home.
I need to put links to my other blogs on my About Me page.

  6. Hi there! Thank you for visiting Grandma’s Briefs. Had to check out your place and I love it!! What would I take home? Well, the rolltop desk is pretty enticing but I already have one and truly could NOT pass up the weinermobile for my grandson! How cool is that!?

Wacky stuff on craigslist, that’s for sure!

See ya again soon — at my place or yours!
