It Never Ends

While the rest of you are showing how beautifully your homes are decorated for the holidays

I am still plodding through my November project.

I have seen this referred to as the Season of Hope.

Is there any hope for me?

There may be some potentially festive projects in this pile.

(for 49 cents could I leave it behind?)

Does it help to tell you not only are all the contents inherited, gifted or deeply discounted but the drawers themselves were less than half the original msrp?

Keep calm, turn the music on, and carry on.

Speaking of music, I have to share my excitement.
I am deeply grateful to Pamela Kraemer, A Renaissance Woman, whose site is amazing with something of interest to EVERYONE, with reviews, link parties, contests and more.  She introduced me to  Backspace Records , an Atlanta based Idie label (read the story here.)  I encourage you to experience their music yourself.  I was fortunate to win a prize from Backspace Records  which I eagerly await.  I’ll share more about that after it arrives.

Thanks also to Simply Stacie  and Two Little Cavaliers for letting me know about the blog hop parties and all the fabulous giveaways.

I may be one of the last to learn of Simply Stacie (and others) Stumble Upon Tuesday link hop  but it is a cool idea with big potential to draw traffic to your blog.  Check it out.

Celebrate WHITE WEDNESDAY at Faded Charm.

‘Tis the season for Rednesday.
For a list of Wednesday link parties click here.
For a fun, creative time check out WWYD Wednesday at Trash 2 Treasure
or What’s On Your Workdesk at Stamping Ground or WYWW at Me & My Bucket.

With names like WHATEVER GOES and Someday Crafts,  I honestly believe this post fits, but the others linking up have actually created some talented results.  Other creative and talented crafters  Show Off Your Stuff linking at Fireflies & Jellybeans.

  1. There’s hope-you just need to be in the right mood to organize or be creative! I’ve got to do some of both after the holidays!

  8. I hope this means you are feeling better!

I won’t be pulling out the christmas decorations, again, til there is a grandchild. So, when you want to feel superior, think of my undecorated, cluttered, totally craft free house!

The 70’s? I thought we skipped that decade….

  19. Oh, I’m right there with you, girl! I’ve managed to decorate – at the expense of housework and home school! But, crafts have been left behind in the dust. Maybe this week . . .

  20. We are in the process of moving, so every room of my house currently looks like this. My intention was to go through and de-clutter before the move, but with a 18 month toddling around, it isn’t working out that way. Grr.

    Happy Holidays!

Stopping by from A Beautiful Mess. 🙂

  39. Sorry, there’s no hope for you. 😉 Bah, no worries. My crafting area looks about the same. Just look at it all as *potential* instead of mess. Then just organize the potential. Don’t organize the mess.

  40. Is it ever a bad thing to have so many artsy crafty supplies on hand, should the creative bug hit you at any time, you will find yourself totally prepared and fully equipped to tackle a project! so this is a good thing to me…

take your time, turn the music on and get organized! you will thank yourself for it when it’s all over and done with! and your own creativity will soar!

thanks for your recent visit to my blog…come again anytime!
