Although I did crop some windshield glare, I am linking this to SOOC Sunday.  Until I learn more about photo editing  cropping is pretty much all I do.  The rest is dumb luck.

Since I enjoy a simple life and barns make me smile, I am also linking up to Simple Things.

  1. Wonderful work…
    Have a great Sunday!

  2. Photo editors are a life saver! But nothing beats getting it right in the camera. Which I’m trying to get to the point where *that’s* not dumb luck for me. LOL

Have you looked at A Diamond In the Stuff today? If you haven’t go look now!

  4. Hi DogsMom! Nice to ‘meet’ you! You’re a Wisconsinite!!! I was going to comment that your first barn photo looked like ‘home’ to me, then a little further down I saw a bottle of Old Milwaukee so I read the About MeMeMe tab. I miss Wis and the land of holsteins and cheese curds. I still have a sister and brothers in the heart of the state but I don’t get home very often anymore. I’ve been a Texan longer than I was a Wisconsinite now but Dairyland still holds a piece of my heart and lots of childhood memories… 🙂

  9. Oh I love old barns. Around here they are being torn down and replaced with metal shed buildings. So sad to see them go. Thanks for a view of one still healthy and happily being used.

You had awfully nice ‘dumb luck’ with this shot!!!

    • Except for the glare, I think the windshield did help make the colors pop.

  14. Lovely shot! What a beautiful barn!

Thanks for stopping by and for your great advice about leaving something out to attract birds to the birdhouse. I’ve never heard of doing that and am going to try it.

    Have a great day!

  18. Very nice barn! A good share of the shots of taken of barns have been drive-by shootings–you can’t stop at them all.
