An Apology, An Update and A Bit of News

I very much wish to apologize for my limited and stereotyped description of people who live in gated communities. I am sorry that I put a negative spin on their lifestyle. I do not categorize or judge people based on where they live,  what they drive or the price tags on their clothing.
I was speaking out of frustration at not being able to get around as freely as I  prefer.
Some experts would say I have blocked my abundance thinking and my chakras and aura are giving off  low energy (negative) vibrations.
I only meant that it is not often that I have the opportunity to visit those communities and I would have loved to see if their sales were interesting. Homes that do not do sales regularly often have a larger selection.  I also enjoy viewing beautiful houses and landscaped yards.

We had a storm blow through here and the robin’s nest in the lower tree was dislodged.  There are no signs of the family. The robins in the upper nest continue to thrive and feather.

Now for the NEWS:

  1. hmmm… I didn’t notice any stereotyping in your last post. but, I forgive you just the same!

Hopefully, those robins were ready to leave the nest!

  2. I am guessing someone got their panties in a knot over something??? Hummm well I live in a Country Club Community and yes some are upity, some are wealthy, some are blue color workers trying to better themselves, some are so down right cheap they squeek when they walk, some are rude, some are nice, some drive expensive cars, and some drive beaters, and most of the garage sales I have been to in my own community are so full of junk I wouldn’t even donate the stuff. There are a lot of houses for sale here and a lot of abandonned and foreclosed homes here too. Just because there is a gate doesn’t make it a perfect neighborhood!

On the brighter side…they get to pay higher taxes than you. Wahahahahahahah!xoxo~Ames

    • No one called me on it except my own reflection. From experience I know I handle poverty better than affluence (I have more experience in the make-do category) and I think I can be a bit jaded. I would love to get better at living a more abundant lifestyle. Regardless of my station or financial staus I don’t want to be judged based upon surface characteristics. I need to behave in the same manner towards others.
I actually do have friends in the million dollar income category and many others I would not trade for a million dollars.
Finances have never been a deciding factor. If they were I am sure I’d have a lot fewer people accepting me.

  3. Thanks for finding my blog today and for the affirming words about how fun it was to read! Wow – – – “them” words’re music to my ears!

Basically (your biggest question) my Droid isn’t a phone – – – it’s comparable to an iPad, so it is a pad computer. I’m happy with my old school cell phone. I’m still learning things about the droid – – – but I’ll get it figured out sooner or later.

Thanks again for your visit today.

  4. I just read your nice comment on my blog and wanted to return the visit. You mentioned about your son going to auto race driver’s school. This is probably the best way to teach people how to drive defensively. My son is a much better driver than I am because he has taken several advanced driving classes besides starting the racing club circuit. Glad to hear that your son is pursuing his dream (or a variation) in the music industry.
I hope you are working towards your own dreams.
P.s. I hope the robins are okay.

  5. Have I missed some stupendous stereotyping post then? Ahh well. Your rambling, barn-dotted area never struck me as a place with gated communities.
