Besides being another Seasonal Sunday link up with the Tablescaper and the continuation of June, Dairy Month it is also time to add some color to your life and surroundings with DebbieDoos Paint party.
Debbie was emphatic that we can all find something to paint.
So before I ran off to this week’s Dairy Breakfast on the Farm I looked around my yard for something to paint for the party.
You will have to come back and see what gets painted for Debbie‘s party because I was off for some Seasonal Sunday fun on Saturday with Father’s Day being this Sunday.
I planned to awaken early and get my wonderful Farm Breakfast as well as a farm tour and continue on with the rest of my day’s activities.
Being up early enough I thought I could fit a few activities into the day before getting to the transportation spot for the breakfast.
With several thousand people invited the committee felt it would be best to use a college parking lot and bus everyone to the farm.
In case of rain this would also protect the fields from thousands of cars.
About 5 school bus loads of people before me left for breakfast. Oddly we only saw one car load of people come back, not a busload, just 4 people together who returned on the schoolbus from breakfast. Let’s hope it meant everyone was having fun and just wanted to stay at the farm.
You decide.
Even though the buses made good time with transportation, there was a line to get back to the college parking lot too.
So I am not making excuses for not painting today.
The party runs all week and I will show up!
You will also have to find out if anything painted makes an appearance at the Mad Tea Party for June 25.
